Neal Todten is a New Orleans based composer and artist.
His work takes deep inspiration from early minimalism as well as New Orleans' rich tradition of self-taught artistic expression.
He creates work for dance, spoken word, scenic design, and film as continutations of his music practice.

He has directed and produced New Orleans premieres of major minimalist concert works including Music For Eighteen Musicians - Steve Reich and Music With Changing Parts - Phillip Glass.
He has presented works for dance and film at Big Ears Festival, Satelitte Art Fair Miami / SXSW, and given concerts internationally in Montreal, NYC, Miami, Clevleand, Pittsburgh, Austin, New Orleans, and Perros-Guirec, France.
He has been a resident artist with New Marigny Theater, been featured on WWNO New Orleans Crescent Classical, curated, produced, and directed contemporary concert series at Happyland Theater, and studied internationally at Académie Internationale d'Été de Nice and Princess Grace Academy in Monaco.
